If you’ve just found us, let me introduce to you The Town Crier. We are all about what goes on in Winterport, the surrounding area, sometimes Maine in general and its history, and a little humor mixed in.
This bi-monthly publication came about because our residents were always commenting that there wasn’t a central place to get information about events, programs, and/or changes to the area.
So, in 2014 some of us got together and hammered out 6 pages of local news. Three years later, having just put out our 17th edition, we are proud to see our little newsletter grow to 18 pages.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and, thanks to our advertisers, we are able to keep this publication free. Please support these small business owners and let them know you saw their ad in The Town Crier. You can find a list of our advertisers on our Local Business page as well as locations of where you can pick up your copy in Winterport, Hampden, and Frankfort.
